We take pre-order reservations without a deposit and will notify you when the chicks/eggs you want are avaiable.
We can usually estimate availability within a 30 day window but since we have no control over exactly what chicks hatch when nor what heens will lay on what days, we cannot guarantee shipment
until we have the chicks hatching or eggs collected and the weather conditions have been verified as safe for the shipment. We reserve the right to refuse to ship at any time if the weather
conditions are not condusive to a safe arrival of the chicks or eggs. We do ship with heat pads (for chick or egg orders) when needed and cool pads (eggs only) when needed.
For Chick Orders:
We will notify you when the eggs are set (21-28 days prior to hatch). Then we will send the invoice 7-10 days in advance of the anticipated hatch date.
For Hatching Egg Orders:
We will send the invoice when the order is received IF THE HENS ARE CURRENTLY LAYING and shipment will be soon.
Payment on orders must be made In Full at least 48 hours prior to shipment (al least a week in advance if paying by eCheck, since they
can take 5 days to clear). This also allows time if you wish to mail a Money Order instead of paying via Paypal.
After payment is received we will verify with you the shipment and delivery dates to confirm you are available to receive the order (Picking up at your Regional or Local Post Office is strongly
suggested. A daytime phone number is required for all chick orders.
