We raise grass fed Angus and Angus-cross steers for the freezer. We know where these steers have been from birth to butcher, they have never been through the stress
of a sale barn. They are humanely raised on pasture, supplemented with hay we grow ourselves in pesticide and herbicide free fields. We finish with grain the last 90 days, while still on pasture, not
in a dry feedlot! We NEVER use any preventive antibiotics nor growth hormones.
Fall 2020 Shares available will be Quarters, Halves, and Wholes in limited quantities! (A quarter is one quarter of whole amount, not a forequarter or a hindquarter).
Cost is per pound, hanging weight, plus your portion of the processing. Actual packaged weight will vary from buyer to buyer as will processing cost since you customize what cuts you want from your
portion of the beef (ie roasts vs steaks, stew beef vs ground beef). All cuts are vaccuum sealed except Ground beef and soup bones.
AVERAGE cost for a quarter is approximately $700. (including what you pay to the processor) and it will fit in a 6-7 cu ft chest freezer. A half will fit in an 8-10
cu ft freezer. Actual price is calculated per pound based on hanging weight + what the processor charges for your specific portion based on your custom "cut sheet".
